Sanwo-Olu Swears in Seven New Permanent Secretaries

On Friday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State inaugurated seven new permanent secretaries to strengthen the state’s public service. The ceremony was held at the banquet hall of the Lagos House in Ikeja, with Governor Sanwo-Olu urging the appointees to demonstrate professionalism and accountability in their new roles.

The new permanent secretaries include Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji Adesanya from the Ministry of Urban Development, Mr.

Durodola Olusola Bukonla from the Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Oladeji Oluwatoyin Olubunmi from the Cabinet Office, and Mr.

Sorungb Tiwalad Adeyinka from the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology. Other appointees are Arc Olukareh Bolanle Monica from the Office of Work, Dr.

Oluwo Adenik Oluwafunmilayo from Health District II, and Dr. Martin Babajid Olumuyiwa from the Bureau of Public Defenders.

Additionally, the governor inaugurated Dr. Oguntimehin Olukayode Olumuyiwa as the chairman of the Lagos State Health Service Commission.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of strengthening government structures to improve service delivery, particularly in critical sectors like health and public administration.
