Sanwo-Olu Leads Tribute to Late General Murtala Muhammed in Lagos Ceremony

Aisha Muham Oyebod, daughter of the late General and CEO of the Murtala Muhammed Foundation, spoke about her father's enduring legacy of courage, leadership, and pan-Africanism. She highlighted his influence in shaping Nigeria's political landscape and supporting African countries like Angola.

Major General (Rtd) Ahm Taiwo, representing the family of late Colonel Ibrahim Taiwo, praised General Muhammed's fearless leadership. The ceremony concluded with a renewed call for Nigerian leaders to draw inspiration from General Muhammed's life of service, patriotism, and sacrifice.
