Sanwo-Olu and Gbajabiamila Push for Tinubu's 2027 Re-Election

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State governor, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, called on Nigerians to re-elect President Tinubu in 2027. They made this appeal during a mega empowerment program organized by Gbajabiamila for residents of his Surulere constituency at the National Stadium, Lagos, which benefited over 5,000 individuals.

Sanwo-Olu, represented by his deputy Dr Obafemi Hamzat, emphasized the importance of evaluating presidential aspirants' backgrounds before voting, highlighting Tinubu's political resilience and ability to rebuild the Alliance for Democracy (AD) party. Hamzat criticized politicians who frequently switch parties, questioning their leadership capabilities.

Gbajabiamila praised Tinubu's efforts to enhance the lives of Nigerians through various initiatives, including increased allocations to states, an interest-free student loan scheme, and the proposed creation of state police. He urged support for Tinubu's re-election, asserting that the administration's work must continue.

Gbajabiamila also addressed controversies surrounding his position, expressing gratitude to Tinubu for upholding due process.
