Ondo Labour Leaders Endorse Tinubu for 2027 Election

Labour leaders in Ondo State have officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu for re-election in 2027, promising to mobilize workers across the state's 18 local government areas to support his bid. This endorsement was made by members of the Labour for Good Governance during an event organized by the Asiwaju Mandate Group in Akure on Friday.

The leaders, including Prince Solomon Adelegan, the group's President and former Vice President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, and NLC leader Bosede Daramola, cited the Tinubu administration's policies on workers' welfare, infrastructure, and the removal of fuel subsidy as key factors in their decision. They presented Tinubu with an award for good leadership and honored Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his contributions, particularly for reforms that have expedited passport applications.

Adelegan described the Tinubu administration as the most worker-friendly government in recent history and expressed confidence that Ondo State would show massive support for Tinubu in the upcoming elections.
