Team Lagos Triumphs at National Youth Games - Governor Sanwo-Olu Lauds Historic Victory

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has commended Team Lagos for emerging as the overall winners of the 9th National Youth Games (NYG) held in Asaba, Delta State. Team Lagos made history by amassing 110 medals, including 52 gold, 36 silver, and 26 bronze medals, showcasing exceptional talent across various disciplines.

This victory marks the first time Team Lagos has been crowned champions since the establishment of the NYG in 2013. Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the young athletes for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to sports, urging them to stay focused, disciplined, and drug-free while continuing to excel in their respective fields.
