Sanwo-Olu to Attend COWLSO's 2026 National Women Conference
The 26th edition of the National Women Conference (NWC) organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) is scheduled for October 26 to 28, 2026, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, alongside Delta State Governor His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori and Ekiti State Governor His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji, will lead other dignitaries at the event.
The conference, themed “Anchored for Purpose: Be the Blueprint,” aims to enhance discussions on women's development and empowerment. Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the First Lady of Lagos State and Chairman of COWLSO, stated that the conference will adopt a hybrid format, allowing limited in-person attendance while enabling unlimited virtual participation.
The event will focus on purposeful leadership and the positive impact women can have in their communities. Due to limited capacity, only five participants from each Ministry, Department, and Agency will attend in person.
The conference will include keynote lectures, a Gala Night, and a closing ceremony.
