Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Calls Women to Action at Conference

Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State First Lady and Chairman of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), called on women to convert their visions into meaningful impacts during a press briefing for the 26th National Women Conference. The conference, themed ‘Anchored for Purpose: Be the Blueprint,’ is set to take place at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, with 3,000 participants expected.
This three-day event, the eighth under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration, aims to empower women through learning, networking, and discussions on relevant issues. Registration began on September 15 and will close on October 15, with late physical registration starting on October 24.
Only five participants from each ministry will be allowed due to capacity limits, while virtual participation remains unlimited. Special Guests of Honour include Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
A pre-conference walk titled “Blueprint in Motion: From Vision to Action” will connect participants with significant locations in Lagos.
