Sanwo-Olu Lauds Oniru Business Council's Leadership Model

During the formal inauguration of the Oniru Business Council, held at the Oniru Palace in Victoria Island, Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu expressed his appreciation for the council's leadership model, which he described as a significant contributor to economic development. He highlighted the administration's focus over the past year on strengthening the economic foundation of Lagos, particularly in the context of the upcoming electoral cycle.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized the need for inclusive economic transformation and collaboration with traditional institutions to ensure the private sector thrives. He noted that the Oniru community, once underdeveloped, has become a prime destination for hospitality, real estate, and creative enterprises due to strategic planning and investor confidence.

Folashad Bada Ambros, the Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, and Trade, reiterated that Lagos's heritage of enterprise and innovation is vital for community-driven development. Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal of the Iru Kingdom also expressed the importance of coordinated dialogue and engagement with stakeholders to foster growth and prosperity.
