Sanwo-Olu Presents ₦4.237 Trillion 2026 Budget to Lagos Assembly

Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has presented a budget of ₦4.237 trillion for the 2026 fiscal year to the Lagos State House of Assembly. The budget, themed "Budget Sustain," aims to provide a roadmap for continued resilience and shared prosperity for Lagos residents.

The presentation comes after the governor signed a ₦3.366 trillion 2025 appropriation bill into law. The budget is structured around five key pillars, including infrastructure, sustainable economic diversification, and institutional reforms.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures such as the Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, and Deputy Governor Dr. Femi Hamzat.
