Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu Rewards 177 Workers with Cars and Cash Worth N165.5m

Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has rewarded 177 exceptional public servants with five brand new cars and N165.5 million in cash as part of efforts to appreciate and encourage their consistent service delivery. The rewards were presented during the 2025 Governor's Luncheon at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja.

The recipients included senior and junior category civil servants who won cars through a raffle draw and received cash prizes ranging from N1 million to N500,000. Sanwo-Olu emphasized the need for Lagos State to continue progressing and commended the dedication of its people.

Governor Nwifuru of another state also recently announced bonuses for civil servants.
