Saraki Calls for PDP Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

Former Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki has called on the leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to unite and strategize for the upcoming 2027 elections after a recent Supreme Court verdict. Saraki's statement, conveyed by Yusuph Olaniyonu, head of his media office, highlights the need for the party to commence reconciliation processes to avoid prolonged litigation.

He emphasized that the Supreme Court's ruling should serve as a catalyst for unity rather than division. Saraki noted that the PDP must work collaboratively across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to build a credible alternative platform for Nigerians.
