Saraki Honors N1m Pledge to Unsung Hero Sagagi

On January 23, 2023, Bukola Saraki, the former President of the Nigerian Senate and former Governor of Kwara State, honored a N1 million pledge to Sheikh Musa Ibrahim Sagagi during the 23rd edition of the Daily Trust Dialogue held in Abuja. This event recognized Sagagi as the 2025 Unsung Hero of the Year for his decade-long commitment to skill acquisition and educational benefits for thousands of people in his community, particularly in the Gangar Community of Jos North Local Government Area in Plateau State.

The family of Sheikh Sagagi confirmed the receipt of the pledged amount on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for Saraki's support. Malam Ahm Shekarau, the Chief Executive Officer of Media Trust Group, also expressed appreciation for Saraki's fulfillment of the pledge, noting that such gestures encourage Nigerians to continue providing humanitarian services to underprivileged citizens.
