Nigerian Security Forces Arrest Suspects Linked to Kano Abductions, Leader Flees to Zamfara

Nigerian security forces have apprehended five suspects connected to the recent abductions in Kano, while the gang leader has escaped to Zamfara. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, confirmed the arrests and the rescue of two victims.

The victims, including Antini Safarau and her husband Ibrahim Ahm Adamu Laka, were abducted by armed men on July 28 in Kano. The security agencies are intensifying efforts to combat insecurity and dismantle criminal networks nationwide.

Additionally, the rescue of schoolgirls abducted in Niger State remains a top priority.
