Isiguzo Urges Responsible Reporting at Security Summit

At a security summit organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Abuja, Isiguzo commended the efforts of security agencies in Nigeria. He urged journalists to exercise caution and balance in their reporting on national security situations.

Isiguzo highlighted the difficult and complex conditions under which security personnel operate, noting that these individuals, including fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters, continue to give their best despite challenging circumstances. He stressed that they deserve encouragement alongside constructive scrutiny.

Furthermore, Isiguzo advocated for regular engagement between heads of security agencies and media executives to promote a better understanding of security realities and provide context that may not always be reflected in public reports.
