Bola Tinubu Orders Security Sweep in North-West and North-Central Forests

Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu has directed security agencies to conduct a comprehensive security sweep in major forest corridors in Kwara, Kebbi, and Niger State to tackle the rising incidents of kidnapping and terrorism. The Nigerian Air Force will focus on aerial reconnaissance in the deepest parts of the forests, believed to be hideouts for criminal gangs.

Joint security forces will deploy across the region to enhance rescue operations, neutralize armed groups, and restore safety. Tinubu emphasizes the importance of community-based intelligence to dismantle criminal strongholds and strengthen security in the vulnerable forest corridors.
