Nigerian Senate to Screen Prof. Joash Amupitan for INEC Chairman Position

The Nigerian Senate will conduct a screening of Prof. Joash Amupitan for the role of Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday.

This follows his appointment to lead the electoral body. The Council of State has unanimously endorsed his appointment, and the screening will take place in the Senate Chamber.

The announcement was made by the Director of Information at the Secretariat of the Research and Information Bureau, Bullah Audu Bi Allah.
