Senator Neda Imasuen Launches Market Project in Edo Community

Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South, has facilitated the construction of an ultra-modern market in Amagba Community, located in the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. The ground-breaking ceremony marked the start of the project, which will include approximately 30 lock-up shops and 40 open stores.

Imasuen stated that the market aims to provide residents with easier access to essential goods, reducing the need to travel long distances for basic commodities. He emphasized the rapid growth of Amagba in both population and economic activities, making the market a necessary addition to the community.

The project is part of a federal constituency intervention and was attended by community leaders, including representatives from the landlords association. Imasuen also announced plans for a police station to enhance security in Amagba and neighboring areas.

Project Manager Hassan Shugaba assured completion within a few months, while Dr Vincent Abah and Pa Joseph Iduoriyekemwen praised the senator's efforts as a significant step towards community development.
