Senator Seriake Dickson Leaves PDP for NDC

Senator Seriake Dickson, representing Bayelsa West, has officially announced his departure from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during a media briefing in Abuja on Thursday. He expressed that there are irreconcilable differences within the PDP, which he believes has diminished its capacity to accommodate its members.

Dickson lamented that the PDP has lost its voice on national issues and is currently crippled by leadership tussles. He has recently registered with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), an independent party recognized by the National Electoral Commission.

Dickson encouraged Nigerians to identify and register with new political parties that can offer better governance and representation in the country.
