Senator Wadada Resigns From SDP Amid Internal Crisis

Senator Wadada has resigned from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) due to internal crisis within the party. In a letter addressed to the party chairman of Tudun Kofa Ward in Keffi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, Wadada expressed that his decision to resign was difficult but necessary given the division rocking the party.

He mentioned persistent conflicts within the SDP that had led to litigation and sharp division. While Wadada did not disclose his next political destination, his resignation has sparked speculation about whether he will join another party ahead of future elections.

This move comes after Wadada praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's performance in office during a meeting with State House correspondents on August 13 at the Presidential Villa.
