Ruben Amorim Leads Race for AC Milan Manager Role

Ruben Amorim has emerged as the leading candidate for the vacant manager position at AC Milan, as discussions have already taken place between the Portuguese coach and the club representatives. This comes after Massimiliano Allegri's tenure ended due to the club's failure to secure a Champions League qualification, finishing just outside the top positions.

AC Milan's form deteriorated sharply, with only three wins in their final ten matches, which ultimately cost them a place in Europe's top competition. Amorim, who previously managed Sport Lisboa e Benfica, is noted for his strong reputation built on earlier successes and tactical systems.

Other high-profile names linked to the role include Mauricio Pochettino, currently managing the United States national team, Oliver Glasner, and Ralf Rangnick, who is committed to the Austria national football team until 2028. AC Milan is looking for a coach capable of restoring consistency and pushing the club back into Champions League contention.
