Akor Adams Leads Sevilla to 3-2 Comeback Victory

Sevilla FC achieved a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Villarreal at Estadio de la Cerámica on Wednesday night. Coach Lui Garcia praised Nigerian forward Akor Adams, who scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute.

Adams delivered a powerful left-foot strike past goalkeeper Arnau Tena after a combination play with Djibril Sow. Sevilla initially fell behind when Georg Mikautadze assisted Gerard Moreno for a goal in the 13th minute, followed by a second goal from Mikautadze in the 20th minute.

Sevilla fought back, with Kike Sala scoring in the 36th minute and leveling the score just before halftime. Adams' goal marked his 10th La Liga goal of the season, contributing to his impressive tally of 10 goals and four assists across 31 appearances this season.

The victory moved Sevilla further clear of the relegation zone, ending their run of four consecutive away defeats.
