Seyi Law and Comedians Set for Abuja's "The Pensioner" Show

The comedy show titled "The Pensioner" will take place in Abuja on September 20, 2026, featuring prominent Nigerian comedians including Seyi Law, Oni Lukuman-Olanrewaju (Ambassador Waahala), Funny Razaq, and Wale Baba. The event is scheduled for 5 PM at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

Ambassador Waahala, who hosts the annual event, stated that this year's edition would focus on family bonding and audience participation, incorporating activities such as dancing and games. Participants can engage in competitions like 'gele tying', drinking, and tie-knotting, with prizes including refrigerators, microwaves, and bags of rice.

Regular tickets are priced at N10,000, while family tickets for two adults and two children are N30,000. The show aims to provide entertainment while also serving as an empowerment platform, ensuring that prizes are awarded to those who genuinely need them.
