Sultan of Sokoto Clarifies Sharia Law Not for Christians in Nigeria Inter-Religious Council Meeting

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar, clarified at a Nigeria Inter-Religious Council meeting in Abuja that Sharia law is strictly for Muslims and should not be enforced on Christians. He highlighted Nigeria's multi-religious nature and secular governance, urging against mischaracterizing religious freedom.
