Former lawmaker Shehu Sani reacted to the Senate's decision to block Senator Natasha's resumption at the National Assembly pending the resolution of a court case. The Senate rejected Natasha's notification of intent to resume legislative duties, citing an ongoing suspension and pending court issues.

The Acting Clerk of the National Assembly confirmed that the suspension remains in force until the Court of Appeal delivers a judgment. Despite the senator's desire to return, the Senate maintained that the suspension imposed in March 2025 due to alleged insubordination remains valid.

The matter is considered sub judice and subject to court rulings before any further action can be taken regarding Natasha's resumption.
