Shehu Sani Wins APC Senatorial Ticket for Kaduna Central

Shehu Sani secured the APC Senatorial ticket for Kaduna Central during the primary election held on Monday. He received a total of 9,105 votes, defeating former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Zailani, who received 1,021 votes, and Shettima, who garnered 1,253 votes.

Sameera Ibrahim announced the results, describing the exercise as peaceful and transparent, commending the party delegates and officials for their orderly conduct throughout the election process. This victory marks a significant political comeback for Shehu Sani, who previously represented the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and is known for his activism and outspoken views on governance, democracy, and social justice.
