Yero, Sani, Katung Win Kaduna APC Senatorial Primaries

In the recent APC senatorial primaries held in Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero emerged victorious for the Kaduna North senatorial district, receiving 6,060 votes and defeating Muazu Mukadda, who garnered 1,044 votes, and Bala Ikara, who secured 362 votes. Shehu Sani won the Kaduna Central seat with 9,105 votes, while Yusuf Zailani received 1,021 votes.

Notably, Shettima Yerima withdrew from the race, having received 1,253 votes. Sani expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for their support, emphasizing the need to address poverty and unemployment.

Sundai Katung won the Kaduna South senatorial district primary, defeating former senator Danjuma Laah, who received 1,370 votes, while Michael Ayuba garnered 878 votes. Katung's victory was described as a reflection of grassroots support and party democracy by Joseph Bege Gaiya, chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.
