Sheikh Gumi Advises Tinubu on Diplomatic Response to Trump's Threats Against Nigeria

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has urged Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu to stand firm diplomatically against former US President Donald Trump's recent threats of military action against Nigeria. Gumi described Trump's statements as a direct insult to Nigeria's sovereignty and called for a swift and proper diplomatic response to defend the nation's dignity.

He recommended that Tinubu summon the US ambassador to demand the immediate withdrawal of Trump's threats. Additionally, former Kano State Governor Kwankwaso criticized Trump's allegations of genocide against Christians in Nigeria and called for US assistance in fighting insecurity rather than issuing military threats.
