Shekarau Commends Adebayo's Vision for Nigeria

Former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau praised Adewole Adebayo, the leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), for his vision for Nigeria during a condolence visit after the death of Shekarau's elder brother. Shekarau noted that their relationship began during a television interview in the presidential election race, where he was impressed by Adebayo's articulation of national issues.

He expressed admiration for Adebayo's ideas and arranged a meeting to discuss their shared vision for Nigeria. Shekarau highlighted that despite their differing political affiliations, their common goal is the nation's development.

He emphasized that political parties are merely vehicles for individuals to pursue leadership and that credible leadership is essential for Nigeria's progress. Shekarau offered prayers for the nation and urged support for credible leaders, regardless of party lines, as he believes this will help move the country forward.
