Shekarau Reviews Political Future Amid APC Engagement

On Wednesday, former Kano State Governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau acknowledged the efforts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a visit from the party's chairman, Nentaw Yilwatda. Shekarau expressed gratitude for the APC's outreach and mentioned that he would be reviewing his political future in light of current challenges within opposition parties, particularly the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

He noted the need for solutions to what he described as a "cancer" affecting the political landscape, although he did not clarify whether this issue was a genuine concern. Shekarau assured that consultations regarding his next political move are ongoing, and he will make a decision in due course.
