Shettima Inaugurates Multibillion Naira Clinic in Maiduguri

On a recent date, Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of Nigeria, inaugurated newly built facilities including a presidential lodge, a governor's house clinic, and other structures worth billions of naira within the Borno State government house complex in Maiduguri. The inauguration was attended by Borno State Governor, Prof.

Babagana Zulum, and other dignitaries. Shettima praised the quality of work executed under Governor Zulum's administration and expressed satisfaction with Zulum's governance, indicating that he has not disappointed in delivering democratic dividends to the people.

The newly established clinic, managed by the Borno State Hospital Management Board and directed by Prof. Abubakar Ali Kullima, is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and is designed to serve 2,000 government house staff families.

The facility aims to reduce the need for staff to travel long distances for medical attention, providing essential services such as antenatal care, surgical services, and laboratory diagnostics, available 24/7.
