Shettima Secures APC Nomination for Kaduna Central Senate

Yerima Shettima has formally obtained nomination forms to contest for the Kaduna Central Senate seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC). This move, which he undertook with the assistance of Hon. Danjuma Paul and Barrister Onu Eugen, aims to dispel doubts regarding his serious intent to compete for the party's senatorial ticket.

Shettima's decision follows a significant show of support at the Kaduna State APC secretariat, where he declared his intent to join the race. He emphasized the importance of a transparent and democratic process, asserting that the Kaduna Central seat deserves effective representation.

Shettima, who has a background in youth advocacy and public service, aims to strengthen grassroots connections and provide a credible voice for the district.
