VP Shettima to Lead Nigeria's Delegation to 80th UN General Assembly in New York

Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima will lead Nigeria's delegation to the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this, stating that Shettima will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar and other senior officials.

Nigeria's participation aims to engage in discussions on global peace, security, development, and climate change. Shettima is scheduled to address the General Assembly on September 24, highlighting Nigeria's contributions to global peace and regional security.

Nigeria will also participate in various side events during the UNGA session starting on September 23.
