Showmax Originals Available on DStv Stream After Shutdown

Showmax has ceased operations, but fans of its Originals can continue to watch their favorite titles on DStv Stream. The DStv Stream platform will feature a dedicated section for popular Showmax Originals, making it easier for viewers to access acclaimed content.

Titles such as "Wura," "Flawsom," "Cheta," and "Real Housewives" from Lagos and Abuja will be available for streaming. DStv Stream offers a bundle that includes live TV, international series, films, children's programming, and live sports via SuperSport, accessible on mobile devices and smart TVs.

Showmax customers will receive trial access to DStv Stream Compact until May 31, 2026, with details communicated directly via email linked to their Showmax account. The monthly subscription for DStv Stream Compact is N6,500 for 12 months.

Customers who do not have an active DStv subscription will not have their Showmax subscription automatically migrated.
