Singapore's MOM Lists Nine Countries for Work Permits in 2026

Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has published its Non-Traditional Sources (NTS) Occupation List for 2026, which identifies nine countries whose citizens qualify for Work Permits in specific occupations within the manufacturing and services sectors. The eligible countries are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

The list covers eight broad occupation categories. For instance, cabin attendants must work for employers holding a valid Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)-issued Air Operator Certificate.

Childcare workers qualify if employed by firms with a valid Early Childhood Development Centre licence or appointed by the Early Childhood Development Agency. Food processing workers must be employed by firms with a valid SFA Food Processing Establishment licence.

Other categories include food services workers, heavy vehicle drivers, housekeeping workers, and manufacturing workers, each with specific licensing requirements.
