Sokoto Governor Aliyu Praises Tinubu's Leadership Qualities

During the opening of the 2026 Caliph Bar Law Week in Sokoto State, Governor Aliyu commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership qualities and dedication to the rule of law. The event, themed "Security of Nation, Security of Future," highlighted Tinubu's vision for Nigeria, which Aliyu likened to that of the nation's founding fathers.

He reaffirmed the administration's commitment to promoting the rule of law and acknowledged the positive relationship between the government and the Sokoto State Bar Association. Governor Aliyu also announced plans to bolster the judiciary, including the recruitment of fourteen new judges for the state high court and the Shari'ah court of appeal.

Additionally, he mentioned that the state government would provide new vehicles for the newly appointed judges to facilitate their operations, aiming to create a conducive atmosphere for judicial officers.
