Nigerian Soldiers Kill 20 Terrorists in Zamfara Bandits' Camp Raid

Nigerian soldiers from the 8 Division of the Nigerian Army, operating under Sector 2 Operation Faslan Yamma, launched an offensive against a bandits' camp in Maru Local Government Area, Zamfara State. The operation, targeting the camp of the notorious bandit leader Gwaska Dan Karmi, resulted in the killing of 20 terrorists.

The troops, supported by the Nigerian Air Force, carried out the assault following credible intelligence indicating the convergence of around 100 bandits at the camp for a coordinated attack. The soldiers engaged in a fierce firefight with the terrorists, resulting in the death of 20 terrorists, while several others escaped with gunshot wounds.

The troops recovered various weapons, ammunition, bicycles, food supplies, medical drugs, clothing, and logistical materials from the destroyed camp. The successful operation showcased the high motivation and combat efficiency of the Nigerian troops.
