Soludo Appoints New Heads for Anambra Health Agencies

On Thursday, Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo announced the appointment of new heads for several health agencies in the state.

Dr. Ezeaka Uwaem was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, while Dr.

Obianuju Okoy will serve as the Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency. Additionally, Dr.

Hillari Okek has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Anambra State AIDS Control Agency. The announcement was made through a statement issued by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburim.

The appointments were made based on the professional experience of the appointees, with the expectation that they will strengthen healthcare delivery in the state. Dr.

Uwaem is noted for his two decades of experience in medicine and surgical expertise, Dr. Okoy has a 20-year background in public health and clinic administration, and Dr.

Okek is recognized for his research interests in epidemiology and global health.
