Anambra Governor Soludo Appoints Chiamaka Nnake as SSG

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Chiamaka Nnake as the new Secretary to the State Government, as announced in a statement by the governor's press secretary, Christian Aburim. Nnake, 39, hails from Nawfia in the Njikoka Local Government Area of the state and has 13 years of experience in finance and economic strategy development.

She has previously served as the chair of the Commission on Budget and Economic Planning and led efforts in mobilizing plans to allocate state resources for socio-economic development. Nnake has held leadership positions across several state boards, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and the Small Business Agency.

She is currently a focal point for social investment programs and has contributed to the Anambra Vision 2070 plan. Nnake holds a Master of Business Administration from Lagos Business School and graduated with first-class honors in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University.

She is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is pursuing a PhD in Public Policy.
