Soludo Dismisses All Political Appointees in Anambra

On Wednesday, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State issued a circular announcing the dismissal of all political appointees. The circular, signed by Dr.

Nwabufor Nwankwo, the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, states that the decision affects appointees in various ministries, departments, and agencies. The circular emphasizes that the absence of senior civil servants will be respected during the handover process, which is to be completed before the formation of a new cabinet.

It also directs that all political appointees should remain in their positions until the new cabinet is constituted. Furthermore, the circular notes that the first meeting of the new cabinet members with the governor is scheduled for March 23 at 10 a.m. in the Anambra State Executive Council Chamber.
