South East Senators Praise Dangote Group's Investments in Nigeria, Seek Government Support for Indigenous Industrialists

South East Senators, led by Enyinnaya Abaribe, lauded the Dangote Group for its significant investments in Nigeria, particularly the Dangote Refinery in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. The Senators commended the company's efforts to boost industrial innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.

They urged the Federal Government to continue supporting local manufacturers and strengthen indigenous capacity for economic self-reliance. Devakumar Edwin, Vice President of Dangote Group, showcased the refinery's expansion plans to triple its production capacity.

The project aims to enhance Nigeria's energy independence and ensure self-sufficiency in refining petroleum products, positioning the country as a key player in the global energy market.
