SportyTV Launches on DStv and GOtv Across Africa

SportyTV has officially joined the DStv and GOtv line-up across Africa, providing subscribers with a 24-hour sports channel that features a diverse range of live sports events. This initiative is part of a broader effort to expand the sports content available to audiences in Nigeria and other African countries.

David Mignot, CEO of Canal Africa, stated that this addition reflects their commitment to making quality sports content accessible to audiences across the continent. Sudeep Ramnani, founder and CEO of Sporti Group, emphasized the goal of broadening access to sports content for African audiences.

The SportyTV channel will include coverage of major football competitions such as the English Premier League, Carabao Cup, EFL Championship, Women's FA Cup, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and the Spanish Super Cup. Additionally, it will feature South American competitions like Copa Libertadores and various basketball programs, including NBA coverage.

The channel is set to launch on June 10, 2026, with DStv channel 236 and GOtv channel 58 in Nigeria.
