SROL Hosts Annual Football Tournament for Youth Empowerment

Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) organized its fifth annual football tournament in Osun State from March 26 to March 28, 2023, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at youth empowerment through sports. The event brought together local communities to celebrate grassroots sports, featuring male and female teams competing for a total prize pool of ₦2,600,000.

The tournament culminated in a closing ceremony at the Iperindo Community field. Teams competed for various awards, including ₦500,000 for the male and female winners, and additional prizes for second and third places.

Individual awards recognized outstanding players, highest goal scorers, and best coaches. Mr.

Segun Lawson, CEO of SROL, officiated the tournament's kickoff, emphasizing the company's commitment to fostering community relationships and investing in local talent.
