St. Saviour's and Grange Win Swimming Competition

The Inter-School Swimming Competition, held at Ikoyi Club 1938, featured 200 participants from various primary and secondary schools. St.

Saviour's School won the overall championship in the primary school category, amassing 260.5 points. Grange School secured second place with 173.5 points, while Riverbank School finished third with 145.5 points.

Other schools in the top five included Children International School and Corona School, with scores of 126 and 119.5 points, respectively. In the secondary school category, Grange School dominated with 271.5 points, followed by Children International School with 171 points and British International School with 133 points.

Greenspr School and James Hope College placed fourth and fifth, respectively, with 116 and 81 points. Babatunde Pears, Vice Chairman and Game Captain of the swimming section at Ikoyi Club 1938, expressed satisfaction with the competition's standards and the increasing level of participation, highlighting the potential for future growth in swimming development.
