St. Saviour’s and Grange School Shine at Swimming Gala

The Ikoyi Club 1938 hosted the 9th edition of the Zenith Bank Inter-School Swimming Gala, which took place on Saturday, featuring over 200 participants from various primary and secondary schools. St.

Saviour’s School emerged as the overall champion in the primary school category, amassing 260.5 points, while Grange School secured the top position in the secondary school category with 271.5 points. Riverbank School and Children International School completed the top three in the primary category, finishing with 145 and 126 points, respectively.

In the secondary category, Children International School and British International School followed Grange School with 171 and 133 points, respectively. Babatunde Pears, Vice Chairman and Game Captain of the Swim Section at Ikoyi Club 1938, expressed satisfaction with the increased participation and standard of competition, highlighting the importance of nurturing young talent for future swimming development in Nigeria.
