St. Saviour’s and Grange School Triumph at Swim Gala

The 2026 Zenith Bank Inter-School Swimming Gala concluded on Saturday, showcasing the talents of over 200 young swimmers from various primary and secondary schools at Ikoyi Club 1938. This ninth edition provided a platform for emerging swimming talent, emphasizing skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

St. Saviour’s School secured the overall championship in the primary school category with a total of 260.5 points, followed by Grange School with 173.5 points and Riverbank School with 145.5 points. In the secondary school category, Grange School dominated with 271.5 points, followed by Children International School with 171 points and British International School with 133 points.

Babatunde Pears, Vice Chairman and Captain of the Swimming Section at Ikoyi Club 1938, expressed satisfaction with the competition's standards and increased participation, highlighting the importance of youth sports development and Zenith Bank's support in nurturing future champions.
