Stakeholders Back NSQF to Professionalize Nigeria's Tourism and Hospitality Sectors

Stakeholders in Nigeria's travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors have endorsed the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) as a significant step towards professionalizing the industry and empowering youth. At a recent forum by NIHOTOUR, Abisoye Fagade emphasized the framework's role in raising industry standards, reducing reliance on paper qualifications, and promoting skill development.

The NSQF initiative received a boost with the approval of its inclusion in the National Skills Qualification Levels Scheme by the Head of Service Federation. This move aims to enhance the employability of young people, improve national security, and address issues like unemployment and poverty through skill acquisition in the sector.
