Stakeholders Commend Establishment of North East Regional Airline to Boost Connectivity and Economy

Stakeholders in Nigeria have praised the move by six North East states to establish a regional airline aimed at improving connectivity, reducing reliance on carriers, boosting regional trade, and creating job opportunities. The airline, known as the North East Shuttle, will operate with an initial investment of N30 billion.

The initiative is expected to connect state capitals within the region to Abuja and Lagos. Aero Contractors' CEO, Captain Ado Sanusi, highlighted the importance of such a regional airline to enhance air travel services in underserved states.

This move reflects efforts to revitalize the aviation sector in Nigeria.
