Gombe State Allocates N5 Billion for North-East Airline Take-Off

The Gombe State Government has approved the release of N5 billion for the take-off of a North-East airline, in collaboration with six other states in the region. The decision was made during the 51st State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

The funds will be used to establish the regional airline to improve air connectivity within and outside the North-East sub-region, aiming to stimulate economic development. Additionally, approvals were given for compensations, including N321 million for property owners affected by ongoing construction projects and N661.5 million for Senior Secondary Certificate Examination fees for students across the state.
