Segilola Resources Launches School and Youth Programs

On February 25, 2023, Segilola Resources Operating Limited inaugurated a new primary school in Imogbara, Osun State, as part of its commitment to community development. The school project includes a new classroom block, administrative staff room, and facilities for students, reflecting the company's dedication to improving educational outcomes in host communities.

Austin Menegbo, the Country Manager of Segilola Resources, emphasized the importance of primary education in shaping young minds and providing lifelong learning opportunities. The initiative also aims to create employment during construction and contribute to local economic growth.

Additionally, on February 26, the company launched youth empowerment programs, including vocational training in various trades for 17 young people from the community. Safety awareness programs were also introduced, focusing on health, safety, and environmental education.
