The Lagos International Polo Tournament's opening week saw STL, Art Hotel, and Shoreline emerge as dominant forces. STL clinched the Adedapo Ojora Cup by defeating arch-rivals Lagos Shoreline A1 in a fiercely contested final.

Art Hotel staged a sensational comeback to win the Chapel Hill Denham Cup, while Shoreline secured victory in the Oba Lagos Cup. The tournament, which began on January 27 at the Ribadu Polo Ground in Ikoyi, featured high-profile trophies like the Sani Dangote Cup and the Owen Cup.
